Our Stock Watering Solution

To set up your property for stock watering, there's a general process to follow:

  • Identify the water source: The first step in setting up stock watering is to identify a suitable water source. This may include a bore, well, dam, or other water source on the property.
  • Install a water storage system: Once a water source has been identified, the next step is to install a water storage system. This may involve installing a water tank, trough, or other storage container that can hold enough water to meet the needs of the livestock.
  • Install a pump & water distribution system: After the storage system has been installed, the next step is to fit a water distribution system. This may involve installing a pump to move water from the water source to the storage container, as well as pipes and hoses to distribute water to the troughs.
  • Maintain the system: Maintenance typically involves regular cleaning and maintenance of the water storage system and pump, as well as monitoring the water quality and flow rate to ensure that the system is meeting the needs of the livestock. Adjustments may need to be made overtime.
